Motivational Keynote Speaker, 16 September 5.15 pm

Purusha Gordon

Featured in The Telegraph, The Independent and ITV, Guinness World Record Breaker Purusha is living proof that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things, given the tools to develop a positive and resilient mindset.

An ambassador for adventure and cult-status brands like Sweaty Betty, DAME, dryrobe and Finisterre, Purusha is a sought-after public speaker and breath coach sharing her story and wellness expertise with businesses and schools across the UK. Drawing on more than a decade of events know-how, her corporate challenges serve to connect clients, colleagues and communities through outdoor and endurance activities, while her school experiences offer an interactive way to teach resilience, teamwork and leadership skills.

Purusha is also Co-Founder of Wild + Brave, a social impact organisation that brings people of all backgrounds together in the great outdoors to encourage community spirit and a positive growth mindset. Through life-changing experiences and expeditions, they shine light on the nation’s unsung heroes to promote more relatable local role models, while immersing groups in the natural world to learn simple ways to protect the environment.

Purusha could not be better placed to teach Resilience & Positivity, having lifted herself out of deep depression and poor physical health and into world competitor status. In 2021, with no prior rowing experience, she started The Ocean Sheroes rowing team. Together they went on to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest all-female team of four to row across the Pacific Ocean, raising £225k in the process. For 35 days at sea, they rowed: two hours on, two hours off, 24/7 from San Francisco to Hawaii - enduring sea sickness, acute fatigue, biting winds and biblical storms. To this day, the teams strong values, positive mindset and culture of kindness got them through  it all, managing to shave 15 days off the previous record.

Purusha transformed her health, wellbeing and self-belief after turning 40, inspiring her mantra that it’s never too late (or too early!) to make a change, confront our fears and develop an ’I can and I will’ approach to life. In 2025, The Ocean Sheroes rowing team are set to make waves once again in another even more challenging world record- to become the fastest team in history to cross the Indian Ocean and raise awareness for Wild + Brave Foundation.

Purusha is unstoppable and passionate about motivational speaking and helping others thrive. And needless to say, she is always up for a challenge. Get on board!
